ZAP resident athlete David Jankowski finished 14th at the B.U.P.A. XC Run Team Challenge on Saturday 1/8 in Scotland. Jankowski covered the ice and snow-laden 8.2 k course in 26:35 as the 5th member of the 9 member US Team. "Dave has set some lofty goals for himself for the next two years," said Elite Athlete Coach Pete Rea, "and this international experience is a good start toward those goals." 

On the same day Track & Field News Released its 2010 "End of Year Rankings" and Jankowski finished the year ranked #6 for the year in the men's 10,000m, an event in which he was 5th at the 2010 US Championships. The ranking is the highest end of year ranking for a member of the ZAP Men's Elite Team.
