ZAP Resident athlete David Jankowski finished 7th at the US 15k Championships Saturday, in what was arguably the deepest field in history. Jankowski covered the 15k course through Jacksonville in a time of 43:51, passing 5k in 14:24 and 10k in 29:05. Jankowski's time puts him as one of the fastest performers on that course in the last decade despite his 7th place finish. "I ran the race I wanted to run today, and I figured coming in that kind of performance would have placed me in the top 3, but a lot of people ran really well today. I'm happy with how I raced today and about how this sets me up going forward into the track season." said Jankowksi. Next up for Jankowski will be the Blue Shoes Mile at Furman and then he will head out west looking to run fast times over 5k and 10k.
