Landon Peacock - Landon is a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Peacock was the 2010 Big Ten Conference XC Champion and a multi-time All American while running for the Badgers and coach Mick Byrne. Peacock, a Michigan native, has also run 13:42 for 5,000m on the track. "Landon is a great addition to the team," said Head ZAP Coach Pete Rea. "He possesses a great deal of range and has proven very effective in both cross country as well as track. He will be an outstanding post collegian."
Sarah Porter - Sarah is a 2011 graduate of Western Washington. Porter won the NCAA Division II 10,000m Championship in what was the fastest time run by a collegiate woman in 2011. She ran a personal best time of 33:17 to win the NCAA Championship, then lowered her best to 32:57 at the USATF Championships in Eugene. A Washington native Porter will be running the ING NYC Marathon this fall. "Sarah is one of the most driven young athletes I have seen in years," said ZAP Coach Ryan Warrenburg. "She has a clear view of where she wants to be in the coming years, and she will be a great addition to the resident team."
Michael Crouch - Crouch is a 2011 graduate of Queens University (Charlotte, NC). Crouch possesses NCAA Division II titles in both track and cross country. He has run 7:57 for 3,000m and 13:40 for 5,000m on the track as well. Crouch was also 4th at the 2010 USATF Club XC Championships. Crouch is a native of California. "Michael has all the tools to be on of our country's best," said Coach Pete Rea. "We are looking forward to working with him toward the 2012 Olympic Trials and beyond."
All 3 resident athletes will be arriving on campus after Labor Day.
