Third year ZAP-Reebok athlete Cameron Bean and newcomer Mary Ballinger took down the ZAP-Reebok steeplechase records last month at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, CA. For Bean it was his first steeplechase of the season and a 5 second personal best. Bean set the ZAP-Reebok record last year of 8:37, a time that left him narrowly missing a spot in the Olympic Trials. Bean will not miss the Championships this year as his run of 8:32 not only was a personal best, but was an "A" standard for next month's USATF National Championships. B...
Sarah Crouch turned in one of the finest performances of her career at the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler last month in Washington D.C. The race doubled as the US Women's 10 Mile Championships. Crouch covered the course in a time of 54:15, an average of nearly 5:25 per mile. Her time was faster than the previous American Record for an all women's race, held by the late Sally Meyerhoff. Her time was good enough to secure her 3rd place in the US Championship field, behind Olympian Janet Cherobon-Bawcom and Brianne Nelson. It was Crouch's best finish ev...

This year proven no different as there were several records set for depth on both the men's and women's side. Veteran ZAP Reebok athlete, Alissa McKaig, toed the line as her ...

Third year ZAP athlete, Esther Erb, ran to her second personal best of the year October 7th at the Twin Cities Marathon. Esther methodically worked her way through the pack, crossing halfway in 1:17:34 before approaching the tougher uphill section at 20 miles. Erb continued to work her way through the field of men and women up and over the hills heading into downtown St. Paul. O...
Go West East, Young Man by ZAP/Reebok Resident Athlete Tyler Pennel My first two weeks at ZAP Fitness have been a big change for me. The biggest and most obvious is that for the first time I am going to be living out of my home state of Colorado. For those of you who don’t know me, I grew up in Golden, Colorado, just west of Denver. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Sociology at Western State College of Colorado (now Western State Col...
