McKaig 3rd in Women's USATF Championship

In the women's race, first year ZAP resident athlete Alissa McKaig ran to the front of the pack early and finished 3rd in a time of 20:38 over the 6 kilometer course. After a quick opening mile, 2nd year resident athlete Jessica Minty struggled over the last 2,000m and finished 27th in a time of 21:27. McKaig will be running the Midnight Run 4 Mile Race in Central Park on New Year's Eve and join Minty at the Houston 1/2 Marathon in January.
