Jessie Cherry of Zap Fitness talks about his experience at the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston where he finished 29th in 2:16:31
Jesse arrives at ZAP all the way from his home state of Alaska via High Point University where he was the most decorated distance runner in school history. Jesse ran his marathon debut at the Olympic Trials in Houston 1/14/12 and came away with a solid 2:16.31 performance. As a collegian Jesse was a 5-time Big South Champion and owner of multiple school records while at High Point and was teammates with current ZAP athlete Cole Atkins.
