Thomas Morgan

Morgan is entering his 5th year as a resident athlete. In that time the University of Kentucky All American has lowered his 5,000m PR from 13:45 to 13:27 and his 1,500m from 3:43 to 3:40. Thomas qualified for both the 2004 & 2008 Olympic Trials (5,000m) and was a finalist at the 2008 Trials in the 5k. In 2008 Morgan won the NACAC XC title in Florida setting a new course record and set a new ZAP Fitness record of 13:27.4 for 5k on the track in Europe. Morgan has also run 22:36 for 8k. Morgan has also twice been named USATF "Athlete of the Week" (January '06 / March '08). Thomas will focus on the winter xc season followed by a track season 5k.
